My name is Emily Williams and I am a senior majoring in Community Health. This semester, I was enrolled in LAS 199: COVID-19 Action for Solutions. Throughout my e-Portfolio I will provide greater information regarding my service project and will integrate the themes from this semester's course into my work.

During this semester, my service projected provided me with a greater understanding and appreciation for the role community-building and social connectivity have on everyone's lived experience. The unique experiences of different populations are all valid and the pandemic continues to affect individuals both positively and negatively. Additionally, the affects are specific to one's social identities as well.

As the pandemic continues, as a society, we continue to yearn for more information regarding how to protect ourselves, safety protocol, and the possible causes of coronavirus itself. However, in the midst of our search for more information, the presence of too much information, a majority of the information being less credible, we struggle with finding sources that will inform us of helpful information about how to protect ourselves.
